ICL lens stands for Intraocular Collamer Lens and is sometimes called the Implantable Contact Lens procedure, because it is similar to thinking of a contact lens being implanted inside the eye.

Lasik flap creation was done first, before ICL surgery because femto second laser flap creation increases the pressure of the eye, If ICL was performed first, the surgical wounds from the ICL surgery would leak.
